How do you match the item with the business?
First of all, you need to fill out a simple form declaring what you lost, where and when, together with your contact information.
Found Hero immediately gets in touch with the place where you lost the item, and work together to get the item back to you. We use an advanced algorithm to match your item description with the one provided by the business.
What are the shipping costs?
Found Hero is completely free to register a lost item request. You only pay the shipping costs if you want to get your item back.
Shipping costs depend on the weight of the package and the final destination. The more the package weights, the more expensive the delivery will be. We allow you to compare multiple shipping companies such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, Canada Post, DHL, and many more to select the best shipping option.
Is it secure to use Found Hero?
Absolutely! We attach the highest priority to keep your data secure. All the personal Identifiable data is properly encrypted before storing it on our server and is delivered through a secure SSL/TLS connection.
All the payments are processed by the most trusted payment provider worldwide, Stripe, which means that your credit card information remains safe and secret.

You can choose to pick-up the lost item by yourself at the location.
You can decide to get your lost item shipped to you by paying the shipping costs.
You can decide to leave your item behind for good or donate to a charity. In this case, you will loose all rights to your item.
